Britta studied art and photography at the renowned Art Institute of Florence, Italy, immersing herself in the rich creative culture. She proudly holds a B.A. in Photography from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA, where she honed her skills and passion for visual storytelling through film & video.

Britta’s use of color is magical.

Painting with acrylics is a dream, especially when vibrant colors and bold shapes are at play. The quick-drying nature of acrylics means I can layer my hues and daring forms without waiting, and when the session’s over, cleanup is a breeze with just soap and water. It’s like the canvas and brushes are ready for their next adventure almost immediately, keeping my creative momentum alive.

I like the vibrant colors that oil paints give me. I love l love abstract lines to dance across my canvas, echoing Picasso’s influence in my work. Each stroke of oil paint on my brush feels like a micro-explosion of creativity, where the lines intertwine, pulling the eye in unexpected directions.
